Rachelle Rak

Rachelle Rak has had a long-lasting career on stage and screen. In 2021, she was featured in the opening number of the Tony Awards, “Broadway’s Back Tonight.” She performed at The Kennedy Center Honors with Billy Porter honoring Bette Midler. Rachelle worked on the creative team for Apple TV’s second season of Schmigadoon! Her original musical “Electric Island” took the screen for the Actors Fund during the pandemic and songs and selections will be performed in New York City at the Greenroom 42. Rachelle has spent most of her life on the Broadway Stage. She was trained by her mother at The Rosalene Kenneth Dance Studio in Pittsburgh. She went directly into her first Broadway Musical, Cats at age 17. Other Broadway Credits include: Fosse, Catch Me If You Can, The Look of Love, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Oklahoma!, and Thou Shalt Not. Off Broadway: Heatwave: The Jack Cole Project, Sessions, An Evening at the Carlyle, and Miss Step Film/Television: Isn’t It Romantic, Every Little Step “The Making of a Chorus Line,” Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition, Dance Moms. Tours: Regional: Flashdance, A Chorus Line, Chicago, Smokey Joe’s Café, Sweet Charity, Starlight Express, Joseph… Rachelle was a celebrity judge on Lifetime’s “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition”, choreographer for Lifetime’s “Dance Moms.” She has been seen on the Amazon Prime Hit, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” Rachelle will be seen in the upcoming music video for artist Thalia. Rachelle is thrilled to be an Associate Choreographer for the upcoming Broadway musical, “Boop” with Tony award winning director and choreographer, Jerry Mitchell. Her new single, “Dropswing”, was just released on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and other streaming platforms.
