Kyle Ponte Four-Hour Workshop
Sunday, October 25
11:00 AM–3:00 PM | $300
for dancers aged 9 and up
Kyle will be working on:
- Foundational technique: Alignment, control, strength, flexibility, and body awareness through warm-up and across-the-floor work.
- Industry/commercial choreography: Choreography suited to music videos and live performances, focusing on stage presence, confidence, and performance quality.
- Contemporary: Fluidity, improvisation, musicality, and expression while developing each dancer’s individual movement style.
- Mock audition: Learning and performing a combination, with feedback on presentation, professionalism, adaptability, and how to stand out.
Kyle choreographed five competition dances this year and plans to do even more in the future. Opportunities like this are so important for dancers because they allow them to be seen, build relationships, and gain valuable experience working with choreographers and industry professionals. This workshop will help dancers understand how to present themselves, increase flexibility, make an impression, and stand out in audition and performance settings.
Dancers must attend all four hours of Kyle’s workshop. Individual portions cannot be taken separately.
Please bring water and a snack, and come ready to work!

Watching Izzy’s journey from growing up and training at The Dance Collective to now heading out on a Broadway National Tour is one of those full-circle moments that makes us unbelievably proud. Izzy has worked so hard for this. Her talent, dedication, work ethic, and love for performing have taken her to some pretty incredible places — and this is a HUGE one.

With over 20 years of teaching experience, dance has always had a special place in my life….and even more so getting to share that love with my students! I attended the Professional Children’s School in NYC during high school while training at Alvin Ailey & at Steps. While performing will always be near and dear, teaching has really become my primary passion. Seeing students realize their own strength through hard work is such joy. And for younger students we offer a gradual increase in dance from having fun with early dance moves at 18 months to the more structured classes of our pre-professional program.

A lifelong dancer Ally has a Musical Theatre degree from Elmira. She is involved in dance in many ways in the Upper Valley.
Our Logo
Our beloved logo was created by one of the co-founders and the current owner’s mother, Barbara Weiner. Barbara created the logo and it has been our icon since that time.
