Red Level is the highest training level offered at The Dance Collective and is designed for dancers who demonstrate exceptional technical ability, artistry, dedication, and maturity. Placement in Red is earned through consistent hard work, strong work ethic, and a deep commitment to growth as both a dancer and artist.
Dancers in Red train at an intensive level with an additional hour of ballet added to the Pink Level schedule, further strengthening technique, control, flexibility, stamina, and performance quality. At this level, ballet serves as the foundation for all styles, while dancers continue advanced training in jazz, tap, modern, and pointe work.
Red Level places a major emphasis on artistry, musicality, emotional connection, and individuality as a performer. Dancers are challenged not only to execute movement at a high level, but to fully understand how to perform with intention, depth, and professionalism.
To continue expanding their education and exposure to the professional dance world, Red Level dancers are also required to attend a minimum of six TDC masterclasses throughout the year. These experiences help dancers learn from a variety of industry professionals while continuing to grow as versatile and well-rounded artists.
Red Level is reserved for dancers who are fully committed to their training and passionate about pushing themselves to their highest potential.
