Hannah has danced for 18 years and found her way back to dance through The Dance Collective this past year! She trained at Creative Edge Dance Studio in Bethlehem, New Hampshire in her early years and performed in ballets and competitions. Hannah studied Classical Studied, Philosophy, and Dance at Hope College in Holland, MI, and performed in the pre-professional dance companies. She also worked backstage for dance and theatre shows where she discovered her fascination for technical performing arts. Teaching dance in Haiti during a spring break has been one of her favorite dance memories!
After graduating, Hannah lived in Greece, Iceland, Italy, and Switzerland and taught English to her host families. Back in the States, she worked in costumes, lighting, and carpentry at the Weathervane Theatre and Stagedoor Manor. Hannah is happy to be back in New England as the Assistant Technical Director at the Northern Stage in White River Junction, VT. She strives to encourage dancers to find and embrace their unique movement styles and push the boundaries they think they are confined by.
