A lifelong dancer Ally received a Musical Theatre degree from Elmira. She is involved in dance in many ways in the Upper Valley. In addition to owning TDC she teaches and choreographs the semester end recitals. She has been a choreographer for Trumbull Hall Troupe and NCCT as well as a past board member for both. Ally has also taught masterclasses at Northern Stage. She has been nominated several times as Best Choreographer by the New Hampshire Theatre Awards and won Best Choreographer in 2013 for her work in The Music Man.
Ally continues Barbara Weiner’s philosophy and strives to teach kids how to love dance, so that they incorporate it into their future lives in some capacity. Ally believes that it’s her job to encourage children of all levels of talent to have faith in themselves and to grow to their greatest capacity. Teaching the art of dance through patience and positive methods is TDC’s motto.
