The Dance Collective is extremely pleased to offer a week-long master class with Broadway Professionals! This extraordinary opportunity is being offered August 3rd through the 7th at The Dance Collective Studio in Glen Road Plaza in West Lebanon, NH. We are restricting this master class week to experienced dancers only, those with a minimum of two years experience. You can come to single classes or all week. The classes will run 1pm to 5pm each day. Cost is $600/full week or $150/day.

Monday, August 3rd
BROADWAY with Skye Mattox
Skye is currently in the Broadway revival of On The Town where she appears onstage every night in the ensemble as well as understudies the role of Ivy Smith. She made her Broadway debut in the revival of West Side Story when she was 18 years old, and has been in numerous shows at City Center’s Encores! series. Skye can also be seen in the second season of NBC’s TV series Smash.
Tuesday, August 4th
CONTEMPORARY with Callan Bergman
Callan Bergmann is a New York City based actor. Recently he could be seen performing on Broadway in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Other New York City credits include being featured in the hit Off Broadway comedy Silence! The Musical, Lucky Guy The Musical, and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes at City Center Encores. Callan has performed across the United States with the national tour of Disney’s Mary Poppins as well as with regional theaters such as Pittsburgh CLO, Paper Mill Playhouse, The MUNY, and North Shore Music Theatre. He has performed in 14 shows with Pittsburgh CLO, most recently as Gideon in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. On television Callan has appeared on NBC’s Smash, ABC Family’s Lovestruck The Musical, and as the character “Vince Connors” on the Late Show with David Letterman. Currently he is traveling the country as “Lewis” on the First National Tour of the Tony Award winning musical Pippin.
Wednesday August 5th
TAP and BROADWAY AUDITIONS with Alex Nordin
Alex Nordin has been working professionally in the world of theatre and dance since the age of 17. He has performed around the US in productions of The Rocky Horror Show Live, Singin’ in the Rain, West Side Story, The Fantasticks, Footloose, and Oklahoma. He has danced at some of New York City’s iconic theatres and jazz venues, sharing the stage with Tony, Grammy, Olivier and Emmy award winners. Alex has trained extensively in stylistic work, especially the Fosse style, and has been seen in productions of Chicago around the United States, as well as The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Hello Dolly!, White Christmas, Crazy for You, Fiddler on The Roof and in several roles in film and television. He is also an international dance tutor for the American Musical Theatre Academy of London, in the UK. Alex’s work has bridged the theatre and fashion worlds for Hermes of Paris, as a featured dancer and associate choreographer and consultant for their U.S. live events.

BALLET with Dante Adela
Dante Adela studied ballet and modern dance at the Alvin Ailey Dance Center after studying for five months at the Lou Conti Dance Studio (home of the Hubbard Street Dance Chicago) where he started. After a year at AADC he then got accepted to study at the North Carolina School of the Arts under full scholarship. After finishing school he danced with US ballet companies such as Orlando Ballet, Kansas City Ballet, NY Metropolitan Opera, and Cedar Lake Dance. In the UK, with the Scottish American Ballet and Northern Ballet Theater. He recently finished a world tour with Cirque Du Soliel’s “Dralion” as the lead character “Yao” (fire element) and can be seen in the film Across the Universe. He’s also done guest appearances with many dance companies. He’s happy to be guesting with The Dance Collective.

JAZZ with James Kinney
James Kinney has been performing professionally since the age of 15. He grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and began his classical training with The Florida Ballet, later melding his training into Jazz and Musical Theater. His Broadway credits include: Fosse, Dance of Death, Barry Manilow’s Harmony and the most recent revival of Sweet Charity, starring Christina Applegate, where he also served as the production’s Assistant Dance Captain. He continued preserving the “Fosse style” when he became the Dance Captain for choreographer Wayne Cilento’s First National Tour of Sweet Charity, starring Molly Ringwald. Read More
