Competitions

The Dance Collective competes annually in select competitions in New Hampshire and the northeast. Our masterclass artists identify dancers who have special talent and we then invite those dancers to our company. If the dancer is interested we work with them and their families to prepare for competitions including song-choice, choreography, costume, mental preparation, and more.

Competition allows for dancers to stretch themselves to be the best they can be. Competitions offer the opportunity to see dancers from multiple studios, and be exposed to different approaches to dance including styles, techniques, and interpretation.

We first recommend competition in state with our longtime competition conference Starboard. We also are more and more extending beyond the state to northeast competitions such as Ignite Dance Live.
