The health and safety of our staff and students is our utmost concern. The following guidelines will be in place until further notice for our fall term.
STUDENTS
All students and staff will be masked at all times regardless of their vaccination status.
Students and staff will be asked to bring their own water bottles with their names on them. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have a bubbler available to refill.
Students with multiple classes that are not back to back will be asked to go to the kitchen or the upstairs studio. We can’t have people congregating in the entrance way.
If possible we ask that your dancer arrives in their proper dress code, please review this on our website.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE PROCEDURES
“Early Start” all guardians will be asked to stay the duration of the class. Masks must be worn the entire class. All dancers and guardians will have their temperatures taken and given hand sanitizer upon arrival.
“Dancing Divas” and “Ready To Go” we ask that parents escort their dancer to the door and wait for their dancer to have their temperature checked. At this point if there are concerns regarding temperature we will ask that the dancer go home. If your dancer is good to go we ask that you exit the facility and either watch the class via zoom or do whatever you might need/want to do for the duration of the class. Obviously there are exceptions to this. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, Red, Tap, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Modern, Broadway: All dancers will have their temperatures taken and given hand sanitizer. All parents will be asked to wait outside and either use our zoom option or do whatever you might need/want to do for the duration of class.
DISMISSAL PROCEDURES
“Dancing Divas”, “Ready To Go”, “Green”, “Blue” will be released to a parent or guardian one at a time. Please make sure you are waiting for your child ten minutes before class time is completed as we want to ensure a safe and efficient hand off. Each student will be released by either the assistant teacher or main teacher to the said parent or guardian. Please inform us of allowed adult if it will be somebody other then the parent.
CLEANING AND SAFETY PROCEDURES
Hard surfaces, dance floors, doorknobs and restrooms will be cleaned daily.
A deep cleaning of the building will take place twice a week.
Hand sanitizer will be available by the entrance, bathroom and on the dance floor.
ILLNESS PROCEDURES
If you are sick or you have had close contact with someone with COVID-19 within the past 10 days, please stay home and follow CDC quarantine guidelines.
If after sickness or exposure you do not have have any symptoms, you may end your quarantine period after:
Day 10 without testing OR, day 7 after receiving a negative test result (lab based or rapid)after day 5. Persons who have been fully vaccinated do not need to quarantine when exposed to someone with COVID-19 if they are fully vaccinated (two weeks after their final vaccine).
If you are unable to attend in-studio class due to illness or quarantine you are welcome to participate in virtual zoom classes.
