Alex Nordin is Returning!

imageAlex is absolutely jazzed to be back with his friends at The Dance Collective! Fresh from a production of Chicago in Phoenix, AZ, Alex began studying the art of musical theatre as a child, and began performing professionally since the age of 17, first starting in the Florida theatre circuit. After graduating from Flagler College with a degree in public relations and advertising, he relocated to New York City and resumed his musical theatre career in the Big Apple. Alex has performed around the United States in productions of The Rocky Horror Show Live, Singin’ in the Rain, West Side Story, The Fantasticks, Footloose, and Oklahoma. He has danced at some of New York City’s most iconic theatres and jazz venues, sharing the stage with Tony, Grammy, Olivier and Emmy Award Winners.

Alex has trained extensively in stylistic work, especially the Fosse Style, and has been seen in productions of Chicago the Musical around the U.S. Further performance credits include, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Hello, Dolly starring Sally Struthers, White Christmas, Crazy for You, Fiddler on the Roof, and several roles in Film and Television. He also serves as an international dance tutor for the American Musical Theatre Academy of London.

As an associate choreographer, he has worked on productions of West Side Story, Shrek, Seussical the Musical, and White Christmas. Alex’s work has bridged the worlds of theatre, dance, and fashion, as a featured dancer and creative consultant for Hèrmes of Paris.
